Functions "Single User"

The following functions are available when selecting a single user.




Team Member Data

The address view lists all information concerning a user. If you have the corresponding access rights, you will be able to edit and delete these entries or, for instance, create a new password for the user.

User Information
Name Description
User Name The team member's user name.
Change password Option to change the password of the user.
Password salt Salt value to secure the password. Only needed when using the Auto Register Tool.
Reset Two-Factor Authentication Resets the two-factor authentication. During the next login the authentication method (app or email) can be newly selected.
First Name The team member's first name.
Last Name The team member's last name.
Company Name The name of the team member's company.
Department The name of the department where the team member works.
Job title The team member's Job title.
Address Line 1 The team member's street name and number.
Address Line 2 Additional field for further address information.
City City name of a team member.
ZIP Code The ZIP code of a team member.
State The name of your state.
Country The name of your country.
E-mail The team member's email address.
Phone The team member's phone number.
Mobile The team member's cell phone number.
Fax The team member's fax number.
URL The website/Internet address of a team member.
Time Zone The team member's time zone.
Language Language of the team member.



Roles/Groups/User rights

This page lists all roles and user groups assigned to a user that have been created in the Team Role or User Groups editor. If no roles or groups have been assigned yet, you should assign a role or group to the team member to make it possible for them to use SiteRemote.

CLIENT APP: refers to the team member's user rights when acessing the remote client.

Label Description
User has the following roles A list of all roles assigned to the user. You can also assign additional roles to the user.
User is member of the following groups A list of all groups assigned to the user. You can also assign additional groups to the user.
User has the following effective rights A list of rights assigned to the user by the user's role or group membership.



Alert Notifications

When a terminal experiences a problem, the person in charge can be alerted about this problem in various ways.
Provided you have the necessary access rights, you can define and adjust user-specific settings that will apply in case of an error.

Alert Settings
Label Description
Activate SMS alerts Settings for sending SMS messages. The telephone number is composed of the country code, network/area code, and the extension (e.g. +49-172-123456).
Activate E-mail alerts Settings for sending e-mail messages. If you want to use more than one address, write each address into a separate line.
Notification options Select the events for which you want to trigger an alert. The alert can be displayed in the team and in the terminal view of the SiteRemote Web application or sent as an text/e-mail message.
Use the additional settings to limit the frequency of the alert notifications. The limit you set here will apply until the next time the user logs on to his or her SiteRemote team. This will allow you, for example, to prevent the system from sending you several alerts about an error that occurs periodically.
