VNC Remote Desktop
|
|
Use the integrated UltraVNC Remote Desktop to establish a quick and easy connection
to the machine you are monitoring over VNC (Virtual Network Computing).
Notes: You can use the VNC feature to connect to a terminal and provide a user
with assistance. This feature can, of course, also be used for maintenance purposes. In this case,
we recommend that you use VNC if you can be certain that no one working at the terminal
can interrupt the maintenance work, for example, outside of the opening hours of the terminal location.
Please note that VNC functionality is included in the client installation.
If you intend to update the client using VNC, please do so while performing a silent installation as the VNC connection
will be lost during the updates and cannot be restored until several minutes later. While the connection is lost,
no dialog boxes of the installer will be available.
The auditing will only show detailed information for repeater connections, because only those are handled by the SiteRemote Server.
