Address Book
The address
book holds all addresses stored for team members, maintenance contacts, machine
owners and machine locations and allows you to look for contacts as well as create
new entries.

Enter a search expression into this field. This expression can contain either part
of a name, address or email address.

New Contact
|
Click this button to navigate to a page on which you can enter a new user and access
all address fields.
Please use the option to specify geographical coordinates (decimal grades) if the map position is not precise enough when using the text address. You can use for example Google Maps for this.

Export
|
Use the Export feature to export saved
addresses. Data you already exported will be stored in the
"Created export files" section so that you can download them again at any time.
If you wish to delete data you already exported, click on the red cross in
the "Command" column.

Exporting addresses
|
- The first step allows you to exclude certain addresses from being exported. The
available options are: users, locations, maintenance contacts, and machine owners.
- Click on "Next" to have the data gathered and stored to an .xml file. When the process
is complete, you will automatically be taken to the next step.
- Use the last step to save the file to your computer by clicking on "Download" or
the file name. Click on "Overview" to return to the main screen of the Export feature.

Import
|
Use the Import feature to import addresses. Please use a previously exported address file to create the xml file that you like to import.
Please use the xml structure of the exported file to create your addresses.
Imported addresses will be added to the existing addresses. No data will be overwritten.

Importing addresses

Choose the file to import by clicking on the "Search" button.

Now click on the "Import" button. After the process has finished you will automatically see a status notification, that informs you about the result of the import process.

Address Field
|
The address field will only display basic information such
user name and address. To view the remaining information, click
the user name or use the edit symbol on the right.
If available,
use the buttons "Edit" and "Delete" to perform the corresponding functions.
