Configuration

Under the configuration section you have the options to import, manage, edit and publish client configurations for SiteKiosk and SiteKiosk Android.

SiteKiosk Configuration
Name Description
Configuration file Name of the configuration file. After starting a job to publish a configuration you have plus(+) symbol that allows you to view additional status information for that job.
Type The Windows or Android symbol shows the compatible client type for a SiteKiosk configuration file.
Description Optional description for a configuration file.
Last update Date of the last modification of the configuration file and the name of the user who did the modification.
Command Distribute: Creates a job to distribute the selected configuration file. Choose an event or the time you want the file to be distributed and select the machines or groups you want to distribute the configuration to in the directory tree to the left. As soon as the job has been created you can also view it on the jobs page.
Edit: You can change the name and the description of the file. You will also find an XML editor section which can be used to directly edit the configuration file.
Delete: Deletes the selected configuration file.

Import
Use the import option to import the configuration file of a registered SiteKiosk or SiteKiosk Android client into the configuration administration page. Just select the desired machine in the directory tree to the left by clicking it with your mouse and then choose a name and description for the configuration file.
You can also import a file from your PC to the server. This way you can for example create or edit a configuration with the configuration editor of SiteKiosk, then upload it to the SiteRemote server and publish it to your client machines from there.
