Software Overview

Software overview provides you with all important information about the installed versions of the operating system and the client software and includes all important components and extensions required by the system.

Installed Windows Operating System
Label	Description
Computer Name	The computer's name within your Windows network.
Windows Version	Version and name of the Windows version installed on your system.
Windows Path	Path to your installed Windows operating system.
System Path	System Path
Serial Number	Windows Serial Number
Update Status	Shows if and how Automatic Updates have been enabled.
Firewall status	Windows Firewall status

Please note:

Since not all components are required to be installed on the machine, not all components listed in the tables will be displayed on all of your machines.

You will not have to install many of the listed extensions to use the basic functionality of the client software.

System Components
This table lists all important system components required and/or supported by the client software. Click on the corresponding link to download the application to your local computer.
Label	Description
Internet Explorer	Internet Explorer is a Web browser that allows you to connect to the Internet and browse the World Wide Web.
Windows Media Player	Application allowing you to play back movie, music, and sound files
Application Components
This table lists all important components of the client software installed on the machine, e.g. the following SiteKiosk components.
Label	Description
Payment Module	Generic payment interface allowing you to charge your customers for surfing the Web at your machines by means of payment devices.
Content Filter	Plugin for filtering out web sites containing adult content.
Remote Client Components
This table shows information about the installed remote client.
Label	Description
SiteRemote Client Service	The service that allows remote maintenance with the user interface explained in this help.
Additional Components
The table lists additional important components required to correctly display documents, animations, and presentations on Internet pages.
Label	Description
Acrobat Reader	Application to display documents in pdf format (including instructions, manuals).
Java Engine	Java environment on Internet pages used by many plugins and applications (e.g. chats).
Quicktime Player	Application for playing back videos in Quicktime format.
Real Player (One)	Application for playing back audio and video files (streams).
Shockwave PlugIn	Application to display Flash content on Web pages.

Monitored Applications

If you use SiteKiosk, the information provided will refer to SiteKiosk.

Installed SiteKiosk Version (if in use on the client)
Label	Description
SiteKiosk Version	Version number and creation date of the SiteKiosk version installed on your system.
SiteKiosk Path	SiteKiosk's installation path.
Configuration	Path and file name of the applied SiteKiosk configuration file.
License Name	The license name of the SiteKiosk license key that is used on this machine.
License Code	The license code of the SiteKiosk license key that is used on this machine.

Installed software

Shows a list of all applications installed on the monitored machine.

Autorun applications

The first part (Programs automatically launched from the Windows Registry) lists applications which are launched by a Windows Registry entry when the system starts up. The second part (Startup Programs) shows a list of programs which are stored in the Startup folder.

Synchronization

Shows information about the synchronization status of the synchronized folders and allows editing the root folder location and torrent port on the client machine.
